Assam down town University (or AdtU) is one of the major private universities of higher education in North East India. Located at Panikhaiti, which is at a distance of about 12 km from the city capital, Dispur, it overlooks the mighty river Brahmaputra, that adds to its pristine ambience. The university offers diploma, graduate and postgraduate studies. The varsity is well known for its distinguished, and highly qualified faculty members with the right mix of dynamic young faculty members and experienced senior professors in all its study programmes.
